Why am I getting screen artifacts when I connect my widescreen (16:9) monitor to the DVI-I port on my TLA7PC1?

The TLA7PC1 and TLA7012 default setting for the DVI-I port is Spread Spectrum Clocking. These artifacts can be resolved by disabling the Spread Spectrum Clocking in the BIOS.
