How Do I Install TekVISA Without Acrobat Reader?

The TekVISA download is a self-extracting archive. Either with a third-party extraction program or by changing the extension from exe to zip and using the built in Windows archive extraction wizard, extract the entire archive. With the TekVISA install extracted, edit the setup.ini file by putting a semi-colon in front of the line PreReq3=Adobe Reader 9.prq to comment it out. Run setup.exe within the same folder and TekVISA will now install without installing Acrobat Reader.

This was done with TekVISA v3.3.3. Compatibility with future versions of TekVISA is uncertain.
