The Event Information Table (EIT) contains data concerning events (a grouping of elementary broadcast data streams with a defined start and end time belonging to a common service) and programs (a concatenation of one or more events under the control of a broadcaster, such as event name, start time, duration, etc.). Part of DVB-SI.
